Our client, a leading Canadian-owned and operated document management and litigation support services provider for the Legal Community as well as Fortune 500 companies is seeking a seasoned litigator or litigation expert with a demonstrated sales background to join their distinguished team.

As an Executive Sales Manager, you will be a conduit in assisting leading Canadian Law firms and multinational organizations with the transition from paper to electronic records while addressing the legal issues associated therein.

Role and Objective:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in their respective, assigned market. The individual will staff and direct a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company�s vision and values. You will develop and implement plans and strategies to expand the customer base for all service offerings and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for Accounts Associates.


The Sales Manager will:

� Develop a business plan &sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals & profitability
� Be responsible for the performance and development of the Account Associates
� Prepare action plans by individual as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects
� Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets
� Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
� Conduct one-on-one reviews with all Account Associates to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs & to provide insight for the improvement of Account Associate�s sales and activity performance
� Provide timely feedback to executive management regarding performance
� Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed proposals/rfp�s submitted for pricing and approval, while maintaining maximum profit margin
� Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Associates
� Create and conduct proposal, presentation and RFP responses
� Assist Account Associates in preparation of proposals and presentations
� Control expenses to meet budgetary guidelines
� Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
� Recruit, test, and hire Account Associates based on criteria agreed upon by senior management



The Successful Candidate MUST HAVE:

- A JD, LLB or Paralegal Designation or relevant experience in litigation support services
- 5-7 years of experience in sales management (demonstrated experience in a sales role at a managerial level)
- Significant knowledge and understanding o the rules of civil procedure, Canadian Court Room policies, and procedures. Familiarity with the rules of Evidence is highly desired.
- Experience with enterprise software solutions
- Experience with litigation support is an asset
- A Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- A Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals\Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
