Our client, a provider of business communications solutions, is looking to add a Bilingual Contracts Manager to their Toronto team. This is a temporary contract, with a good possibility of becoming a permanent role.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Customer Contracts, you will be responsible for providing fast and efficient bilingual contractual support to both internal and external customers.

The role will include:
- Drafting new standard agreements and analyzing and responding to complex customer requests for modifications to the company’s standard contracts
-Negotiating directly with customers’ operational and legal personnel with respect to complex requests to modify company’s standard sales contracts, business terms and conditions, within defined parameters
- Preparing and submitting high-quality proposals, sub-contracts, modifications and other contractual obligations in response to customer RFP’s requests
-Managing approval process for concessions that are outside of defined parameters.
-Ensuring that all approvals are received and tracked for audit purposes
-Preparing concession log for each contract negotiated identifying the concession granted in the contract as well as the business approver of the concession.
-Making critical immediate and informed decisions on contractual terms that will have significant impact to revenue and customer relationships
-Maintaining good-standing relationships with customers, sales and all internal functional groups throughout the contract negotiation process.
-Representing company’s position both from a legal as well as an operational position succinctly, confidently and accurately

Exigences:

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

• An LL.B/ JD, or equivalent
• 2+ years of contract negotiation experience
• experience at reviewing, drafting, negotiating contracts
• excellent writing skills
• a strong customer and team focus
• strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• exceptional time management skills.
