This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a legal professional with a background in sales or business development.

Our client, a leading international company in the Information Technology and Services sector, is looking to add a National Sales Director to its world class Legal Solutions team. Reporting to the VP Sales, you will be a key member of our Senior Leadership Team in leading, planning, executing and inspiring sales managers/sales teams to meet and exceed company objectives.

This role involves:
•Achieving revenue, new sales and business development objectives by providing value and solutions to existing and potential customers and the development of industry related relationships;
•Understanding and developing comprehensive segment based Go-To-Market plans within and across intersecting market segments in collaboration with other departments
•Identifying, developing and driving critical new sales, revenue retention and growth strategies in partnership with the entire sales team;
•Leading and motivating varied professional sales management and sales teams, and inspiring maximum contribution, productivity and success;
•Providing formal and informal coaching and communicating with Sales Team members to optimize performance;
•Learning, understanding and maintaining the standard operating principles in the adoption and use of critical sales effectiveness theory, planning, process and correlative CRM system (SF.com) to deliver optimal sales execution, forecasting, and results;
•Developing effective strategies to leverage business opportunities in the high value, top tier market segments;
•Collaborating with Finance on expense allocation/management and optimizing and aligning sales territories and organization structure to capture opportunity and achieve maximum growth and efficiency;
•Targeting new strategic alliance opportunities and growing alliances already in place;
•Identifying and implementing technology that will optimize and facilitate the sales process across teams;
•Developing B2B relationships with key associations, accounts and priority customers, representing the company in a manner that builds market value, equity and enhances a positive perception of business engagement possibilities.


You are the ideal candidate if you have:

• a university degree with specialization in Business, Marketing or e-Commerce;
• have a legal background
• 5-7 years of senior sales management experience in a professional, B2B sales environment;
• experience leading both outside and inside sales operations;
• experience in business development and in developing strategic relationships;
• exceptional people management and coaching skills;
• strong analytical skills and numbers orientation;
• the ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships and influence/persuade others;
• superior communication and presentation skills;
•exceptional interpersonal skills;
•strong technical/PC Skills including MS Office especially MS Excel & PowerPoint.
• experience in the legal industry working with C-Suite executives
