Our client, a global specialty lines company with an emphasis on niche insurance products is looking to expand its team by adding a Claims Counsel to its Specialty Casualty Claims department in Toronto.
This is a 6-8 month contract position, with the possibility of extension.
Reporting to the SVP Claims, the Claims Counsel will be involved in the review, analysis and development of strategy for claims made across North America on a variety of professional liability, directors and officers, fidelity and related insurance programs.
Your role will include in-depth coverage, review and legal analysis, the management, direction and strategy of litigation and direct liaison with counsel, clients and brokers.
Requirements:

?have excellent negotiation, and mediation skills
?have excellent oral and written communication skills
