Our client, a global consulting firm focused on human capital and financial management is expanding. They are looking to add two (2) Legal Retirement Consultants (Pensions)to their Montreal team.
In this role you will be serving as an internal and external resource on technical and compliance matters related to the design, implementation and administration of registered pension plans, as well as non registered supplemental and other employee benefit plans.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Preparing documentation, consulting on pension issues and plan design
-Drafting, reviewing, understanding plan documents, amendments
-Liaising with government authorities and other pension and benefit professionals.
-Keeping clients and associates up to date on legislative and regulatory developments involving retirement and other employee benefits
-Participating in new business opportunities with both new and existing clients
Requirements:
You are the ideal candidate if you:
-have minimally 2 years of related experience
-have strong writing, research and communication skills
-have exceptional analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information
-have exceptional client focus
-have strong professional acumen
-have excellent presentation skills
-have the ability to prioritize, are able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
-are highly organized, and have the ability to take initiative and be independent
-Bilingualism is an asset (working knowledge of French, with willingness to strengthen is ok)
