Our client, a governmental agency, and national privacy leader, focusing on health related matters, is expanding. They are looking to add a Sr. Privacy Specialist to their team.
Reporting to the Director, Privacy, in this role you will be part of a team of privacy specialists.
Your role will involve:
•overseeing a portfolio of projects and programs to which you will provide privacy advice and guidance
•carry out day-to-day Privacy Office activities, such as conducting staff privacy training, developing privacy policies and procedures, managing incidents, developing internal and external communications, and conducting privacy impact assessments
•complete privacy projects to improve the efficiency of the Privacy Office
•support the Director, Privacy in promoting a culture of privacy and maintaining the organization’s designations under PHIPA
Requirements:
You are the ideal candidate if you:
•have a thorough understanding of privacy legislation and privacy best practices
•have experience in health care, health informatics, or information systems
•have excellent written and oral communication skills and strong presentation skills
•excel in a fast-paced and projectized environment
•possess excellent time and relationship management skills
•have proven analytical, problem-solving, and advisory skills
•be able to work independently and deliver results under general direction
•have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
