Our client, a Canadian leader in commercial development is looking to expand its team of lawyers by adding commercial real estate lawyers to its Vancouver and Montreal offices. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Commercial Real Estate Counsel will be involved with drafting and negotiating leases, agreements of purchase and sale, finance documents, and providing strategic recommendations to the management team regarding long-term success of each project.
Requirements:
You are the ideal candidate if you:
have minimum 2 years of experience in real estate law
have excellent drafting and negotiating skills
have strong problem solving skills and a good head for business
have solid communication and interpersonal skills
are bilingual (required for Montreal position)
experience with commercial financing transactions is an asset
