Our client, a Toronto based biopharmaceutical company, is growing, and is looking to fill the newly created position of Intellectual Property Manager.
Reporting to the V.P., Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, you will be responsible for management of all intellectual property matters.
In this role you will:
*prepare and prosecute national and international patent applications
*maintain the diverse portfolio of inventions, patents, trademarks, and copyrights
*draft new patent applications and develop invention disclosures
*perform patent and literature searches for new products and ongoing analysis
*collaborate with the management team and staff scientists to devise innovative IP strategies
*negotiate licensing and other technology transfer agreements
Requirements:
