Our client, a leading employer resource company specializing in workers compensation claims, disability management, and health and safety, is expanding.
They are looking for a lawyer with considerable WSIB experience to compliment its multidisciplinary team.
In this role you will be responsible for managing WSIB claims, preparing and presenting cases at tribunal and appeal levels.
This role involves:
-preparing and presenting cases at both WSIB and WSIAT levels
-day-to-day case management
-return to work/modified work plans
-claims/disability management
-re-employment, revenue and claims issues
-labour law issues
-policy work
Requirements:
You are the ideal candidate if you:
-have excellent knowledge of workers compensation issues
-have demonstrated experince preparing and arguing WSIB and WSIAT cases
-have demonstrated experience managing WSIB claims
-have excellent report writing skills
-have exceptional presentation skills
-are energetic and highly motivated
-are able to uork under pressure and meet deadlines
