US Called Tax Lawyer
Overview
Our client, a top-tier U.S. law firm, with a growing Toronto office is seeking a U.S. called Tax Lawyer to join its growing and dynamic tax practice in their Toronto office.In this role you will be responsible for:
- Providing guidance on a full range of U.S. federal business and personal tax issues
- Advising clients on both domestic and international matters, including multi-national companies, public companies, privately held businesses, emerging technology companies, venture capitalists, investors, business owners, executives, and high-net-worth taxpayers.
- Advising both business and HNW individual clients on federal tax matters related to cross-border issues
- JD, and are a member in good standing of a U.S. state Bar
- 5-15+ years of relevant tax experience
- Experience advising on U.S. federal tax matters in connection with cross-border issues involving both high-net-worth individuals and business entities.
