Tax Associate
Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Tax Associate at a well established full service law firm. This lawyer will join a thriving tax department and work on sophisticated files amongst talented practitioners in a dynamic, entrepreneurial and collegial milieu.The ideal candidate will have/be:
- A member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;
- Have approximately 2-6 years of pertinent tax experience, particularly in personal and corporate tax planning, corporate reorganizations, estate and post mortem planning;
- Strong drafting, negotiating, analytical and interpersonal skills;
- Strong business acumen and be client focused;
- Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast paced work environment;
- Be bilingual (with strong English skills);
- A Master’s degree in Taxation or completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course, a strong asset.
