Tax Litigation Associate (4+ Years)
Overview
Our client, a reputable National organization with an incorporated law firm is looking to add a Tax Litigator with 4 + Years of Experience to join their tight-knit, high performing legal team.The successful candidate will be part of a collegial team of tax litigators and have the opportunity to work on a variety of domestic and international tax disputes for the company’s high profile clients including; multinational enterprises and high net-wroth individuals.
You will be part of a team of experts acting as trusted counsel on disputes involving the CRA, the provincial tax authorities and in litigation proceedings in the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court and the Court of Appeal.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a J.D. or LL.B. and be a member in good standing of the Ontario Bar.
- Have at least 4 Years of tax litigation and controversy experience gained at a recognized national or regional law firm.
- Strong academic records
- Exceptional written and oral communication.
- Knowledge of tax laws, statutes and regulations.
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
