Senior Commercial Litigation Associate (6+ Years) - Huge Growth Potential

Our client, one of the province's leading litigation boutiques is looking to add a Senior Commercial litigation associate (6+Years) to their prestigious team of litigators as a result of its continued and robust growth.
 
The firm has years of experience representing clients before all levels of court, most notably the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as numerous provincial and territorial courts of appeal, the Federal Court of Appeal, and an array of administrative tribunals.
 
The successful candidate would work along side KC’s and distinguished practitioners on complex commercial litigation matters (with some administrative litigation) with a view to coming into a book.
 
Requirements:
 
With a significant portfolio of sophisticated clientele, from large institutional clients to smaller successful businesses in both the public and private sectors, the successful candidate will need:

• A JD or LL.B and be a member of good standing of the Bar of British Columbia
• Significant experience in commercial litigation matters gained either from a leading law firm or reputable boutique
• Will have a minimum of 6 year of commercial litigation experience and administrative litigation experience is an asset (in court experience)
• Have a strong work ethic, be ambitious and able to think creatively
• Have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• The desire and ability to eventually run their own book.
