Job Description:
The firm is seeking to add a mid-senior litigator with solid experience in commercial litigation with an emphasis on construction disputes in particular, including construction defect claims, delay and disruption matters, professional liability claims, builders liens, as well as more general commercial matters such as: complex shareholder disputes and breaches of contract.
You will work with a collaborative team on high-stakes files, representing clients ranging from insurers to developers, contractors, and consultants managing files independently while contributing to team-based strategies and represent clients before all levels of court.
Requirements:
The Successful Candidate will:
- Have 6–8 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on construction-related, insurance and general business law disputes.
- Be a member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
- Have excellent analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Have a proactive mindset and the ability to manage files independently
- Be team-oriented approach and a commitment to exceptional client service
