Our client, one of British Columbia's most respected and well-established business and litigation law firms and recognized as a top regional firm in Western Canada is looking to add an experienced Senior Securities Lawyer with deep expertise in public corporate work to join its dynamic Business Law Group.

Job Description:

Working alongside leading practitioners, many of whom are ranked by Benchmark Litigation, Best Lawyers in Canada, Chambers Canada, and Lexpert, you will be representing a broad range of clients including private individuals, large institutional organizations, emerging businesses, and mature companies.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and manage complex securities transactions, including public offerings, private placements, and M&A.
Advise on continuous disclosure, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters.
Serve as a strategic advisor to public companies and high-growth businesses.
Foster strong client relationships and actively contribute to business development initiatives.
Mentor junior lawyers and support internal knowledge development.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

A JD or LLB and be a member in good standing of the Bar of British Columbia
10 + years of experience practicing securities and public company corporate law.
Strong knowledge of TSX, TSXV, and/or CSE regulatory environments
A proven ability to handle complex transactions independently.
An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing a practice within a supportive firm culture.

The compensation range is between $135 000 and $ 180 000 depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may include bonuses, benefits, or other incentives.
