Job Description:
This is a senior leadership position involving carriage of complex litigation matters and direct client responsibility. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping litigation strategy, appearing before the courts, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Responsibilities:
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Lead complex commercial and construction litigation matters
- Develop and execute litigation strategy
- Act as counsel on hearings, mediations, and trials
- Appear regularly before the courts
- Manage sophisticated and multi-jurisdictional disputes
- Advise clients directly on litigation risk and strategy
- Mentor and support junior lawyers
- Collaborate with senior practitioners on high-value matters
- 8+ years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong courtroom and advocacy experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex files
- Strategic, practical, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
- Collaborative approach combined with strong professional independence
- A portable practice is welcomed but not required.
