Litigation Associate

Overview


This is an excellent opportunity for a Litigation Associate at a leading law firm who is seeking to add a civil litigation lawyer to their existing team with approximately 3-7 years of strong experience in sophisticated litigation matters. This lawyer will be exposed to a variety of stimulating litigation files and they will work collaboratively amongst seasoned practitioners at the firm. They will have the opportunity to lead, plead, strategize and manage their litigation files. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced lawyers to play an integral role within the litigation department of a top tier law firm and work on a variety of complex matters in a fast paced, dynamic and collegial work environment that offers autonomy on files, mentorship, as well as the support of a strong and talented team. Remote or Hybrid option.
  
Requirements:
  
The ideal candidate will:
  
•Be a member of the Quebec Bar with approximately 3 -7 years of strong civil litigation experience;
•Be able to work autonomously and collaborate with others when needed;
•Have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to handle competing priorities;
•Have excellent client communication abilities, writing and negotiation skills; 
•Have sound judgement, business acumen and attention to detail;
•Be perseverant and strive for excellence; and
•Be bilingual.
