Family Law Associate - 2-3 Years
Location: North York, Ontario (Remote/Flexible)

Life After Law is working with a reputable family law boutique in North York that is looking to add a Family Law Associate with 2-3 years of experience to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a family lawyer seeking a flexible work arrangement, a reasonable billable target, and the opportunity to manage their own files while benefiting from mentorship and support from experienced family law practitioners.

The Opportunity:

Remote/Flexible Work Arrangement: Lawyers have the freedom to work remotely and attend the office as frequently or infrequently as they prefer.
Reasonable Billable Target: 1,200 billable hours annually.
Autonomy & Mentorship: The successful candidate should be comfortable independently managing their own files. However, mentorship and guidance are readily available when needed.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience practising family law in Ontario.
Experience independently managing family law matters from beginning to resolution.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Ability to manage files autonomously while maintaining a high standard of client service.
Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
