Responsibilities:
The practice focuses exclusively on management-side employment and labour law, advising employers across the private and public sectors on employment agreements, wrongful dismissal litigation, human rights matters, grievance arbitrations, discipline and discharge, collective bargaining, labour board proceedings, workplace investigations, and complex dispute resolution. The work is sophisticated, high-level, and often national or cross-border in scope.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a JD or LLB and be a member of good standing of a Canadian Bar.
- Be a senior employment and labour lawyer (8+ years call preferred).
- Have strong experience advising employers.
- Have demonstrated success handling complex employment litigation and/or labour relations matters.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in contributing to continued growth.
- Desire to build within a globally recognized platform.
